Noah Cyrus and Franklin Jonas are celebrating a friendship that goes back nearly two decades. 🥹
The pair revealed they got matching tattoos of their ‘Ponyo’ characters, Ponyo and Sosuke, on their forearms. Noah and Franklin voiced the lead characters in the English version of the 2008 Studio Ghibli film when they were children.
In a joint Instagram post, the longtime friends shared photos from the tattoo session, showing off the matching designs by tattoo artist Zander Morales. ➡️
Fans quickly reacted to the tribute, obsessing over the nostalgic nod to the beloved film and the duo’s lasting friendship, despite the history of their older siblings. 🤫
Noah and Franklin were both 8 years old when they worked on ‘Ponyo’, and we’re still obsessed with the film as much as they are. 💓
