Sure, you might make worse work at first, but slowly your lines will become more bold and decisive, and when you slow down again, this quality will remain. 2.) Measure twice, cut ONCE. 🔪 Part of becoming faster is becoming more economical. Many artists draw and redraw the same line two or three times, but this communicates uncertainty. So, if something is challenging, hover your pen over the line you want to create and only put the pen down when you’re ready to commit. 3.)
