I learned how to draw like most people—practice, practice, practice. ✍🏻🔁 But what I wish I knew back then is there are easier ways. Some methods, like learning how to block compositions, only take a few days to learn but can make a HUGE difference, even if other things—like perspective and proportions—remain imperfect. In fact, the main difference between my first and second sketchbook is NOT technical drawing skill. Sure, that improved. But what changed the most is the storytelling.
