After six years of dedicated service at Temple Station—three years as a Lieutenant and three years as Captain—Captain Meza has been promoted to Commander of South Patrol Division. During his time at Temple Station, Commander Meza built lasting relationships with deputies, professional staff, and community members alike. He often spoke about one of the most rewarding parts of his career: watching Temple Station deputies walk into their first briefing as trainees and grow into Field Training Officers, Special Assignment Team members, detectives, and sergeants.
