Every day, Temple Station deputies rely on a variety of tools to help keep our communities safe. One of the most effective is a BOLO (Be On the Lookout) bulletin. A BOLO is a flyer or notification created by detectives to share important information about a suspect wanted in connection with a crime. These bulletins often include photographs, physical descriptions, and details about the suspect’s alleged criminal activity. By distributing this information to deputies in the field, law enforcement can quickly recognize and locate individuals who may pose a threat to public safety. In this case, detectives developed a BOLO for a suspect wanted in connection with multiple arson-related incidents. Deputies assigned to the City of Duarte recognized the suspect from the bulletin, located him in the community, and after a short foot pursuit, safely took him into custody on multiple felony charges.
