Temple Station deputies assigned to the City of Rosemead made a splash at the Rosemead Public Pool during our “Belly Flop with a Cop” community event! Deputies spent the day meeting community members of all ages and sharing important water safety tips to help everyone stay safe while enjoying the summer sun. From discussing pool safety to reminding families to always keep a close eye on young swimmers, the event was a fun way to promote an important message. As for the belly flop competition, our deputies gave it their best shot, but the trophy didn’t make its way back to the station. A talented young community member stole the show and took home the championship title!
