A few years ago, if you had asked me what was standing between me and the life I wanted, I would have had a pretty good list.
Some of those things were real. Some weren’t.
What I didn’t realize at the time was how many stories I was carrying around about myself. Stories about what I was capable of, what I deserved, and what was possible for my future.
The funny thing about stories is that if you repeat them long enough, they stop feeling like stories. They start feeling like facts.
This month inside Rise, we’re exploring the stories that shape our lives. Not to judge or force them to change. Just to become aware of them.
