📍Washington, DC - First time attending thebigcakeexchange yesterday 4-7pm! 🎂🍴Always wished we had this kind of event in dc after seeing the sf cake picnics 🥹 Bring a cake as part of your ticket to participate (VIP ticket available too where you don’t have to bring a cake). You get 8 minutes to slice up 400 cakes and fill your box 📦 I baked two cakes morning of the event since the bae doesn’t bake 😅 I made a pandan strawberry wildflower cake and banana lavender cake 😇 Tried so many amazing and creative cakes! 😍 Some stand outs include a tomato soup cake, matcha coconut cloud cake, ras malai cake (made my friend!), black sesame mochi bundt cake (also made my friend!) First time knowing about this event through nova_nomz a while back! :) 📝 this event happens once every year in the spring!
