Don’t miss “Tales & Tellers”, Miu Miu’s third interation of the special project staged at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre open to public from tomorrow until Sunday, June 7th from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Conceived by interdisciplinary artist Goshka Macuga (gonogo.space), convened by Elvira Dyangani Ose (edyanganiose), and performance direction by Fabio Cherstich (fabio_cherstich).  Drawing its title from the notion of storytelling as a conveyance of knowledge, from the idea not only of the importance of narratives but of the figures who communicate them, Tales & Tellers comprises physical installation, video and performance - from each artistic intervention from previous Miu Miu fashion shows and each of the films comprising the Miu Miu Women’s Tales series since 2011, a character is directly extracted, her actions re-imagined by an actor, alongside video projection of the original film.  Tales & Tellers also includes screenings of all commissioned films.
