You know those places you come across, whether seeing a photo or reading about it, and you place a mental bookmark on it, noting if you’re ever in the area, to check it out? These hot springs have been mentally bookmarked in my head for 8 years and they were a perfect after work adventure while in Mammoth. They’re an hour north of Mammoth and Mono Lake is right in between. Definitely recommend checking them out! But also remember, leave these places better than you found them, pack it in, pack it out.
