Dragons may be fictional – courage and character are definitely not. 🐉 Later today on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (tbn) flagship ministry and talk show “Praise.” At 7 and 10 p.m. CST, Scouting America President, CEO and Chief Scout Executive, Roger Krone, joins Candace Lee and Eric Newman, authors of “George Goodwin, Dragon Slayer: A Scouting Legend,” to discuss courage, character and the Scouting values that help young people face life’s adventures. The story takes place at Big Mountain, West Virginia, drawing inspiration from one of our high adventure bases, The Summit Bechtel Reserve (bechtelsummit). While the tale follows George and his fellow Scouts on a fictional quest, the #Scouting lessons stand true in real life.
