Constructed as a gift to my old friend Johnny Walker who had just co opened a studio in Kentucky house in an old Masonic Temple thelodge_ky , this bench which is also from a temple, originally I tore down to the bare essentials: Regaled, refinished, springs restrung, new foundational horse hair and cotton padding, and a gorgeous deep blue mohair fabric to match the blue recording room of the Lodge KY studio. But as with all things Masonic it has to contain many secrets right? (so I'm told) To many lay folk and art critic alike it may just appear to be a bench, but unlike any piece of seated furniture before you can actually plug an instrument into this piece and perform through it.
