"The Famous White Singer" 2026 Jack White III. "I found 2 of these sewing machines garbage picking in detroit 20 years ago, had this constructed sculpture in the works for a long time that has a lot of roots in Cass Corridor artwork to me. It took on a whole new life and persona though when at a flea market in Joshua Tree I discovered a third sewing machine from a company called "The Famous" which absolutely blew my mind that the word "The" was in the title/name of a sewing machine company." This piece and many others are on view and for sale at the "These Thoughts May Disappear" exhibition at Newport Street Gallery, London till September 13th.
