"I asked 6 artists to rework the Panoverb amplifier that I designed and do whatever they want to it as an art piece with only one rule: the amplifier still had to work in the end. My roots in the Cass Corridor and its art scene go back a long way so of course I had to see if the legendary Cass artist Robert Sestok was interested in the concept therealbobsestok_ HIs work along with Gordie Newton's is very influential on me. My first music shows were in the Corridor at the Old Miami and Gold Dollar, I went to high school there, and our pressing plant is currently located in the Cass Corridor (sorry I aint calling it "midtown" haha) I was thrilled when I saw the first photos of what bob had done: gorgeous welded metal work encasing the entire amp both directly attached and detached.
