I always told my friends in high school they would never see me in a sorority, but after coming to college, I knew I wanted to put myself out there and get involved. Even though I was nervous, giving recruitment a chance ended up being one of the best decisions I’ve made. When I first came to Charlotte, I was really unsure of myself and lacked a lot of confidence. Going through recruitment pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible and opened me up to so many new experiences and people. From the first conversation I had with the girls in Zeta, I felt comfortable. Everything felt genuine, and I never felt pressured to be anyone other than myself.
