Alice is the happiest little girl. She loves books, dancing, and playing outside. Her cancer diagnosis was devastating to her family, but Alice's resilience has been incredible and inspiring. At first, they thought she had DIPG and only a year to live, but after discussing her case with doctors at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, a biopsy proved her cancer was in fact a low-grade glioma. Though her tumor remains inoperable, it is treatable with chemotherapy. Alice has been fighting bravely and is our hero!
