Frank Lloyd Wright revolutionized home living with open concept living and dining rooms, efficient kitchens and walls of glass that draw in the outdoors. The architect will be celebrated Saturday, June 6, in advance of the 159th anniversary of his birth at the Gordon House in Silverton, Wright’s only design built in Oregon. The Gordon House’s annual Open Museum is 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at 869 W. Main St. ($5 for adults, under 18 are free). The two-story dwelling with decorative geometric fretwork and functional innovations that continue to influence modern homes was designed by Wright in 1957 and constructed in 1963.
