Police from multiple agencies responded to a shooting in Sandy near Cascade Crest Apartments on the south side of town Sunday evening, telling residents to shelter in place while they secured the area and arrested a suspect. A suspect was arrested about 8 p.m. Sunday, police said, adding that the area was safe.
