In acapetownstory we were invited to ride along with serving police officers, working in some of the toughest parts of the city. ⁣ ⁣ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘄 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲. ⁣ ⁣ These were motivated, professional men and women, often working with a fraction of the resources their counterparts elsewhere would expect, and frequently in the face of public opinion that had stopped giving them the benefit of the doubt. ⁣ ⁣ They were turning up anyway. ⁣ They wanted to do a good job. ⁣ They wanted to serve the communities they belonged to. ⁣ ⁣ That came through in everything they did and everything they said.⁣ ⁣ BUT..⁣ ⁣ UBUNTU - A Cape Town Story, 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆, though crime is in it. ⁣ ⁣ 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗺, though the city has rarely looked more like itself. ⁣ ⁣ 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗼𝘀é, and it isn’t a lecture.⁣ ⁣ Rather, 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗮 �...
