A popular outdoor lounge chair sold nationwide on Amazon is being recalled due to a risk of "amputation," the Consumer Product Safety Commission said with injuries reported and customers advised to "destroy" the chair. The recall, issued last Thursday for Giantex outdoor lounge chairs, says consumers can end up placing their fingers in a "pinch point" when adjusting the lounge chair, posing an amputation risk. The company has received one report of a person's finger getting amputated from adjusting the chair, the recall said. Customers were advised to stop using the lounge chairs immediately and contact Giantex for a full refund. From there, customers will have the option to request a prepacking return label or will be "asked to destroy the recalled lounge chair" by detaching the headrest, cutting the fabric and then providing photographic proof. Tap the 🔗 in our bio to learn more. #amazon #recalls #summer #loungechair
