Two reasons why showing up really matters 👇 1️⃣ Because as someone who has hosted hundreds of events throughout my career—from Burberry to Mums Who Build—I know that no matter how experienced you are, how much effort goes into planning, or how incredible the event is, there’s always that nagging fear: “What if nobody comes?” So when the rain was pouring, the Tube strikes were causing chaos, and staying home felt very tempting, it actually made me want to support omalley_katie even more. I know what it feels like to wait and wonder who’s going to walk through the door. And wow, am I glad I did. Seeing what Katie created, the brilliant people she brought together, and how much she’s grown over the past year was incredibly inspiring.
