ad OMG, I genuinely had no idea if this was going to work... 😅 Starting with a simple plastic bowl, I applied some heat to shape it into a shell, then layered on air-dry clay and sculpted away, creating organic forms inspired by nature’s imperfect beauty. I’ve always believed that bringing nature into your home creates a sense of calm, helping transform everyday spaces into somewhere you can truly switch off and recharge. That’s why I wanted to fill these shell planters with orchids. To me, orchids bring such a serene, spa-like energy that instantly makes a room feel more peaceful and restorative. When choosing orchids, look out for plump green roots, as this usually means they’re well hydrated. If the roots appear grey, they may be ready for a drink. I also removed the support stakes because I love seeing the blooms fall naturally, just as they would in the wild.
