You can be thin and insulin resistant. Thin was never proof you were metabolically healthy. The scale was never the measurement. Your fasting insulin was. 2. “Normal” bloodwork isn’t optimal. Standard ranges are built to catch disease, not dysfunction. By the time your glucose flags on a lab, you’ve been insulin resistant for years. 3. When you eat matters as much as what you eat. Melatonin rises at night and blunts insulin, so the same meal at 9pm spikes your blood sugar higher than it would at noon. I stop eating by 7pm. 4. It was never willpower.
