My hot take on the yourshotau haters.. Part 1: Successful people don’t hate on other people learning or starting and they never get threatened. PERIOD. I WANT to be inspired by new talent and fresh blood in the industry. 2: To be a hugely successful Artist/DJ you DO need to learn how to bring people in the door. (I’m not talking about resident djs btw) Which artists usually get the biggest headline sets at a festival? The ones that are the most popular / the ones who likely sold the most tickets 💯 This is a great way to learn how the industry actually works bc teaching young djs that they don’t have to invest in themselves or hustle to get sets or learn how to create demand for their art is actually setting them up for FAILURE.
