Fifty years after earning his master’s degree, Hilel (Hal) Segal returned to the classroom with a new mission. After a career as a tech entrepreneur and newspaper columnist, Hal came to USask to explore solutions to one of the world’s biggest challenges: climate change. This week, he crossed the Convocation stage to receive a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Interdisciplinary Graduate Studies.
