Add these 2 adventures to your next Catalina Island trip. California Parasail offers both parasailing and a Sea Lion Boat Tour right in downtown Avalon. We loved both experiences. I had taken my teenager and 88 year old grandma parasailing in Avalon a few years ago and knew my husband would enjoy it. California Parasail makes it super easy to fly 800 feet in the air and see amazing views of Catalina Island. You start and stop right from the boat, making it doable for all. You even get to dip your toes in the ocean if you want. The next day we joined the same crew for a Sea Lion Tour that brought us along the coast to Seal Rock. Our knowledgeable guide pointed out scenic landmarks and shared fun stories about Catalina. We got to see seals climbing on the rocks, swimming in beautiful blue water, and lounging in the sun.
