It’s expected that MacFarland will have full control of hockey operations with no one above him. MacFarland met with NSH owner Bill Haslam last night and it’s expected that NSH will be closing the deal pretty quickly. Nashville is aware they have to “hand the keys” to MacFarland (i.e. name MacFarland President as well), and they will be doing that in this hire.
