A look back at a 2021 Chandler explosion that left four people injured inside a print shop. Back in August 2021, emergency crews responded to Platinum Printing on West Ray Road after an explosion happened inside the business, which was located in a Chandler strip mall. Reports said the explosion caused moderate damage to the building and sent four people to the hospital. Two men were taken to the Arizona Burn Center at Valleywise Health with critical injuries, while two others were hospitalized with serious injuries. The cause was under investigation at the time.
