Driverless semi-trucks are officially running freight between Phoenix and Texas. ๐Ÿค–๐Ÿš› Aurora says its fully driverless trucks are now operating on a roughly 1,000-mile commercial route between Phoenix and Fort Worth, with no driver behind the wheel. The company says the trucks can move freight faster by avoiding required rest breaks for human drivers, and it plans to have more than 200 driverless trucks operating by the end of 2026. That may be good news for shipping times, but it also raises real questions about highway safety and the future of long-haul trucking jobs.
