If you’re obsessed with pink blossoms, this post is for you. 😍 Pink blooms are popping up all over Ottawa, have you spotted them yet? While many people mistake them for cherry blossoms, these are actually Crabapple blossoms, whose flowers look very similar to cherry trees. Thanks to Ottawa’s cold climate, Crabapple trees thrive here and can be found throughout the city. Here are three spots with especially beautiful concentrations of them: 1. Prince of Wales Drive; the area around the Central Experimental Farm. 2. The Arboretum, which has two stunning areas filled with Crabapple trees, including one along Dow’s Lake that’s perfect for relaxing picnics by the water. 3. The patio at the Canadian Museum of History.
