The waterfalls are at their peak right now, and they’re absolutely roaring! 🔥🔥 Have you gone on a waterfall tour lately? You don’t even have to leave Ottawa to do it. Our city has four waterfalls within the urban area, such a privilege! 1. Rideau Falls The most iconic of the four. Its name means “curtain” in French, which fits perfectly. It’s located at 50 Sussex Drive. You can park near the Embassy of France and walk just a few meters to the falls. 2. Chaudière Falls A powerful waterfall that helps generate clean energy for Ottawa. It was closed to the public for over a century until the area was redeveloped into a park. Indigenous communities consider it a sacred place. Its name means “kettle” in French, referring to the churning waters. You can park along Wellington Street and walk to the falls behind the Canadian War Museum. 3.
