With these warm temperatures, you’d think he’d be gone… but Janus is still standing ✨
Janus, the Glebe’s giant snowman, was born during the COVID-19 pandemic after a 25 cm snowfall. ☃️
This winter marks his 6th year of life.
He came to life again on November 10, 2025, built entirely by hand using a ladder, a shovel, and a wheelbarrow.
Despite the recent warm temperatures, Janus is still standing strong. It looks like he might be sticking around a little longer this season.
Have you seen him yet? 👀
📍 Where to find Janus:
Next to the Embassy of Greece, at 534 Queen Elizabeth Drive, between the Bank Street Bridge and the Bronson Avenue Bridge.
