Kichi Zibi Mikan is a beautiful walk just 1.5 km from Parliament Hill. The views of the Ottawa River are stunning, and you can even spot the Peace Tower in the distance. All year long, it’s a perfect escape from the city buzz, ironically, right in the middle of the city! ✨
This multi-use pathway starts right behind the Canadian War Museum and goes all the way to Dominion Station. During the winter, the trail is groomed for cross-country skiing, skate skiing, snowshoeing, fat biking, running, and walking.
Some highlights include the William Commanda Bridge, the rock sculptures by John Ceprano at the Remic Rapids, the NCC Bistro during the summer months, and Westboro Beach.
Have you ever walked or skied here? 😃
