Honestly, I really wanted one last skate on the Rideau Canal. ☹️ But when I got to the canal at 2 pm, it was already melting! Too risky to attempt skating for me. A few brave souls were skating, but you could tell they were struggling. Most people just walked on the slushy ice. Well, that’s it, guys! And we can’t complain because this season was AMAZING! ✨ 1️⃣The canal opened on December 31, very early! 2️⃣It was open for 56 days, a pretty decent run. 3️⃣Almost entirely at its full length. 4️⃣Ice conditions were very good most of the time. 5️⃣One million people enjoyed this season! That was quite a wrap! 😍 The crews did an awesome job again.
