Escaping Ottawa for a couple of days before Christmas was exactly what we needed! 🥰 How relaxing it was to spend two days in a beautiful lakefront cottage, just 1 hour and 30 minutes from the city. We headed to Blue Sea, Quebec, where I’d never been before. It didn’t stop snowing during our entire stay, which made it feel extra special! ❄️ I loved sitting in front of the big windows, simply taking in the view of the frozen lake. It was so frozen that we even saw people driving their snowmobiles on it. Just 40 minutes away is Mount St. Marie, so my husband took our daughters for a ski day on the slopes. ⛷️ The cottage has 4 bedrooms and is incredibly spacious, with a big social/play area that even has its own kitchenette.
