Jamie Fisher found himself standing on the roof of the MCG in front of 100,000 people on Anzac Day, hoisting the flag above one of the world's most iconic sporting venues.
It's a surreal moment, made all the more extraordinary by everything it took to get there.
From working at Man City to some of the world's biggest sporting events, including the Australian Open, FIFA Women's World Cup, ICC Cricket World Cup and the Australian Grand Prix, Jamie built his career one ‘yes’ at a time.
After moving to Australia on a working holiday visa to play cricket for six months and a promise to himself to never work a bar shift again, he turned casual promo work into a career at the biggest events on the planet.
His story is proof that the first step doesn't have to be perfect. It just has to be a step.
