Father’s Day is approaching and if you’re looking for a nice letterpress printed card, we have you covered! These letterpress printed Father’s Day greeting cards were printed with green rubber base ink using a 4x6 Golding Official No. 2 tabletop printing press. The card states, “I’m very FORT-unate to have you as my dad!” The font is 24 point Caslon and the photo engraving of a wagon approaching a fort was obtained by our museum a couple years ago. The back of the card includes an image of a Washington hand press, our museum monogram, and the words “Printed at the Sacramento History Museum.” Fifty cards were printed in this press run.
