Hamilton County's celebration of America's 250th anniversary will include a drone show, days after the usual fireworks event on the downtown riverfront. (Note: This post was updated and reposted because previous version of this story mistakenly suggested the drones would replace the fireworks show.) According to a press release, the city and Hamilton County government are partnering with special effects companies Full Spectrum and Pyro Shows to produce a large-scale drone show this year on July 4. The Pops on the River fireworks show will occur July 2 at Coolidge Park, according to a city spokesperson. Both events are free. The new July 4 show will involve 500 drones and a "pyro waterfall" off of the Market Street Bridge, according to the press release. The event will be called United250, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, which will be celebrated across the country this summer. 📸: Matt Hamilton #chattanooga #tennessee #hamilton...
