Our final cast member has arrived: Zhao Yu Tao, who is a National First-Class performer from the Jiangsu Performing Arts Group (Kun Opera Theatre) 😮 One of the stories featured in 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱'𝘀 𝗔 𝗦𝗲𝗮 is directly inspired by “The Black Ghosts” and “The Raksha Country and the Sea Market” — two short stories from Qing dynasty writer Pu Songling’s Strange Tales From A Chinese Studio (Liao Zhai), and the scenes will incorporate the highly stylized form of Kunqu, one of the oldest surviving forms of Chinese Opera!
