“Building Joy: A Movement to Reimagine Oakland’s Schoolyards” has been named a Bronze Telly Award winner in Advocacy & Causes for the 47th Annual TellyAwards. The documentary follows eatlearnplay’s efforts to transform underutilized schoolyards across Oakland into vibrant, student-centered spaces for learning, play and community — told through the voices of students, educators, Stephen and Ayesha Curry, and partners at ousdnews and kaboom.
