Best grouper sandwich spots in St. Pete: harveysstpete - a legendary restaurant that’s been around for nearly 40 years. The owners opened their doors on 4th Street in St. Petersburg on April 1, 1984. The interior is brimming with local history. Owner Dan Harvey outfitted his restaurant with remnants from St. Pete landmarks. You’ll find floorboards pulled from The Vinoy and old slate blackboards pulled from local schools. Their front doors were originally the front doors of the Sunshine School on St. Pete Beach. The outdoor dining patio features original wood planks from the Soreno Hotel, a landmark building that went out in a blaze of glory with a demolition that was used in Lethal Weapon 3. 📍 3121 4th Street North Story by Andrew Harlan for #ilovetheburg #burg #tampabay #stpete #stpeteflorida #roamflorida #727 #foodie #grouper #groupersandwich #foodlover #seafood #restaurantlover #floridavibes #downtownstpete #dtsp #instaburg #brunch #eater #yelp
