💜🏆 I’m now in my second year working with @joinpathways X @newbalance on the Pathways Tournament. Here’s how my journey began. Three years ago, I made the decision to stop playing football. I wasn’t injured. Life just happened. Constant setbacks after playing in Denmark and Norway back in 2017, followed by a lot of missed opportunities, especially when I lost my full-ride offer to study and play in the USA, a year later, my dad, who supported me, had a stroke. I was never the same player again. I had a session with a therapist about what to do next. I couldn’t find myself outside of football. Today, I work in football. I lead an amazing organisation @joinpathways in Africa, providing support, assistance & opportunities for youngsters who couldn’t become professional footballers. While we celebrate the success & achievements of our global superstars, let’s not forget those we shared that dream with. Everybody deserves a second chance at life.
