Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance: an annual day to remember and honor our transgender and gender diverse community members who have lost their lives to anti-trans violence and sentiments 🕊️🏳️⚧️🤍
“Honoring people’s identities is a way for us to remember their humanity and the connection we all share,” said Sable Schultz (she/her), Manager of Transgender Services. “It is so important to see the coming together of community right now. We are still strong, we still come together, and we do what we can to look after one another. We persevere and we keep going, even through all of this.”
