In the final days of LGBTQ History Month, we’re looking back at some of the events The Center has hosted this month to spotlight monumental moments in LGBTQ+ history that have occurred right here in Colorado! 🏳️‍🌈 📚️⁠ ⁠ Earlier this month, Glenda Russell, PhD, presented a post-Stonewall timeline of impactful events in LGBTQ+ history that occurred in Boulder, CO. About 50 community members attended to learn more about events that have typically lived in history’s shadows.⁠ ⁠ Last week, we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Gay Revolt at Denver City Council with a film screening & discussion panel event, featuring Councilperson Robin Kniech and DPS teacher Phil Wade.
