The developer behind controversial plans to redevelop Hyde Park Square unveiled a new proposal June 3. PLK Communities, The Loring Group and NorthPointe Group announced they have submitted revised plans to the city of Cincinnati for a new mixed-use development on the south side of Hyde Park Square. Developers in 2025 won approval from council for an earlier plan, but opponents then sought a referendum to repeal the rezoning. It was ultimately rescinded at Mayor Aftab Pureval's request.
