Ghar ka Khana is not always the healthiest
Ghar ka khana khaate ho na?
Toh healthy hi hoga.
One of the most common assumptions we hear in wellness.
And honestly, it sounds comforting.
But over time, I’ve realised something:
“Home-cooked” and “nutritionally balanced” are not always the same thing.
I’ve seen people who eat only ghar ka khana and still struggle with:
low protein intake, vitamin deficiencies, high cholesterol, fatty liver, acidity, poor recovery, low energy, and rising sugars.
Sometimes, ghar ka khana is made with too much oil, too many carbs, very little protein, irregular meal timings, excess tea/coffee, or simply years of eating without understanding what the body actually needs.
It’s important to understand:
What is on your plate.
What is missing from it?
At Saaya Care, one thing we constantly try to simplify is this:
Healthy eating does not mean giving up ghar ka khana.
It means learning how to make everyday food work better for your health.
