𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 ➤ #AnthonyParker, who has served as Orlando’s assistant general manager since 2021, has been promoted to the team’s general manager position. #JohnHammond, who previously held the position, will transition into a senior advisory role. Parker, who began his tenure in Orlando a scout from 2012-17, has spent the entirety of his post-playing career with the #Magic in executive roles. He was also GM of the #LakelandMagic from 2017-21. Hammond signed a 5-year deal to become Orlando’s GM in 2017, and with that contract coming to a close, the team opts to go in a new direction. Clearly, the organization values him enough to keep him in the front office. Thoughts? Parker is a well-respected and beloved member of Orlando’s FO.
