Three years of work. Two countries. A growing community of young advocates, researchers, and experts advancing sexual health and rights at a moment when this work is ever more necessary. Since 2023, the Global Initiative on Young People’s Sexual Rights and Health has trained dozens of young advocates across Los Angeles and São Paulo, generated new research, and brought youth voices and perspectives into policy spaces where decisions about their lives and bodies are shaped. We are proud of what this initiative has built. This is just a small snapshot of some highlights, none of which would have been possible without the dedication of our partners and the more than 70 students who helped to drive this work forward. Young people’s sexual health and rights have never been more contested. The case for investment, collaboration across sectors, and youth-led advocacy has never been more urgent.
