Handwriting starts long before children write words.
One of the biggest mistakes I see is children being taught letter formation without first learning where to start or how to hold their pencil comfortably.
A good pencil grip can help with control, accuracy and stamina, while correct letter formation helps children develop automatic handwriting patterns that support both reading and spelling.
