I was going through my photos and saved some of the Live Photos as videos, and it made me smile seeing my daughter hyping me up in the background. I always tell her that’s how you know you have good friends. The people who hype you up, support you, and celebrate the things you love. The people who never make fun of your interests or the things that make you happy. As she grows, I hope she finds her people, the kind of friends who genuinely want to see her win and who make her feel good about being herself. My daughter knows I love taking my outfit videos. Of course she gets annoyed with me sometimes because she’s a kid, but at the end of the day she’s still going to cheer me on and make me feel good about myself.
